How long does the Flag hold?

We are often asked how long a flag holds? This is impossible to answer as many factors play, eg. location, surroundings and maintenance of the flag. There are also other unaffected factors such as wind, rain and sun. However, we can check that the flag is used in a way that maximizes the service life.

Here are some points to remember:

· Raise the flag for the first time in calm weather.
· If the flag is wet, dry it properly before folding it together.
· If the flag is set up around the clock, the service life is shortened, changing the flag regularly.
· Do not have the flag hoisted in harsh wind, then it blows apart.
· During rain and wind, the stresses on materials and seams increase further.
· If the flag starts to emerge at the outer edge, fold it over immediately.
