International maritime signal flags

Signal flags are normally used at sea on boats to signal to other boats of one's operation (see below). You can also use it on festive occasions for decoration. When you do it on a boat it is called the flag over the top and when you do it at home in the flagpole it is called big flag. It is then said that one uses a code of signal set, which is the collective name for all the signal flags together. International Code of Signals 

Meaning of the Code Flags

A = I have divers down. Keep away and go with slow speed.
B = I load or unload explosive goods.
C = Yes.
D = Keep away from me, I maneuver with difficulty.
E = I change the course starboard.
F = I'm broken: way in contact with me.
G = I need lots.
H = I have pilot on board.
I = I change course to port.
J = I have a fire on board and for dangerous cargo. Keep away.
K = I wish to establish a connection with you.
L = Stop speed immediately. In port: Quarantine
M = My ship has stopped and does not speed through the water.
N = No.
O = Man overboard.
P = "Blue Peter". Ready for departure, alt. the lanterns are off.
Q = My ship is free from infection, and I request the right to free transport with land.
R = My ship is not speeding.
S = My machines go full speed back.
T = Keep away from me. I am doing party trawling.
U = Danger over.
V = I need help.
W = I need medical attention.
X = Cease with what you are doing, and pay attention to my signals
Y = I pull.
Z = I need a tugboat.
