Different ways to anchor your flag

It is important that the flag is properly raised in the top, ie. that it sits tightly under the flagpole. Otherwise, it gives the whole thing a sloppy impression. The best thing is to use a single or double shot as the left example shows. This works well if you have the flagline and it is replay loops in the flag. However, many of today's flags and flaglines have plastic hooks like the other two examples. Which is also a convenient alternative.
One tip may be to tie your flag together in an endless loop, it may come in handy if a hook happens to drop from the flagline. Then you do not have to trap the flagpole to get the flag down.
